This app will allow your student to learn a lot of new vocabulary. In this app, you play as a dog. The app gives you a Spanish word, and you have to steer the dog to the correct object. When he finds it, the dog gets a bone. Catch a cat and you'll get more time. See how quickly you can find all of the Spanish words! Duolingo
This a great app for someone trying to learn Spanish. This app would be best for upper elementary students. It goes through different grammar and vocabulary topics. If you register your child, let me know so I can follow them and see their progress. They can also follow their friends and compete for points. Instaspanish
This app gives you several vocabulary categories to choose from. Each category includes a mini-lesson and games to practice the new vocabulary. |
Learn Spanish
This app will help your student practice colors, numbers, letters, animals, fruits and vegetables, and shapes. It is a slow paced game, but a great introduction to the vocabulary. It gives you four pictures to choose from. You have to pick the picture that matches the vocabulary word. This is a free app, but there is a paid version with more vocabulary options. Color Teacher
The Color Teacher Lite is free while the full version costs .99. This app allows you to take a photo. It tells you the color of objects in your photo when you tap it. Spanish Numbers
This app gives you a couple different options to practice numbers in Spanish. You can listen to a number and type what you hear. You can read the number name and type the number. Also, you can type a number and the app gives you the number's name in Spanish. There is a free and paid version. The paid version has a wider range of numbers to practice. |
